Erik Petrovskis, Director Environmental Compliance & Sustainability; Meijer Inc.

 

Erik Petrovskis is Director of Environmental Compliance and Sustainability at Meijer, a leading Supercenter located in six states in the Midwest. He leads environmental management across Meijer, including due diligence, remediation, multimedia compliance, and sustainability. Erik had a 20 year career as an environmental consultant, where he served the automotive, food , chemical, petroleum, and industrial laundry industries. He is an adjunct professor at the University of Michigan, where he teaches water and wastewater treatment design and sustainability engineering principles. He served on the ITRC and Sustainable Remediation Forum. Most recently, he was a member of the National Research Council Committee on Sustainability Tools and Approaches for the US EPA. Erik earned a PhD in Environmental Engineering from the University of Michigan.
